Perfect for rugby players looking for a classic-looking rugby boot, the latest Gilbert sidestep is now available in a moulded outsole. Traditionally used during the warmer months, moulded boots offer better grip than 'atsro' style trainers, slipper-like comfort and can be worn on hard ground, firm ground or artificial turf pitches. The Gilbert MSX Pro contoured outsole is specially designed for the rigours of rugby.
A durable rugby boot with a classic design, the latest sidestep boot, VX 10, goes back to its roots. Available in classic black and white or a modernised white/black/blue, we have retained the same familiar outsole - again available in an 8 nops (adult) for soft ground, MSX Moulded for hard ground or firm field and 6 nops for junior rugby players.
Inside the boot, we have introduced a rigid TPU boarding for improved power transfer with an additional flex point in the forefoot. We have kept the contoured EVA footbed, which provides the cushioning you need, for comfort when you need it. The footbed is also fully removable to make room for personalised insoles, if needed.
