Bauerfeind Braces and Supports
Bauerfeind makes medical braces, bandages and supports for knee, ankle, wrist and back. German-made, and widely used both after a sports injury and as a preventive measure during training.
Support during recovery
A bandage of this kind stabilises the joint and keeps it warm, which is what makes it comfortable during recovery and on the return to the pitch. The knitted compression is built up so that the muscle is supported without being squeezed off.
Choosing a size
Bauerfeind works with size tables based on the circumference of the limb, not on clothing size. Measure at the point shown in the table before choosing, because a bandage that is even slightly too wide gives almost no support at all.
