Choosing the right size
Doll clothing is given by the height of the doll, usually 28 to 35 centimetres or 35 to 45. Measure your own doll before ordering, because a set that is a few centimetres out will either not close or hang loose.
Dressing as practice
The garments are made to be put on and taken off easily, with large press studs and hook fastenings rather than small buttons. That is deliberate: dressing a doll is one of the ways a child practises the movements needed for its own coat.
