Yellow Door
Yellow Door makes educational play material for young children: sensory stones, counting and sorting material, loose parts and resources for language and early number work.
Objects instead of worksheets
The whole range is built on handling real things rather than filling in sheets. Children count with stones, sort by colour and shape, and put together a concrete picture of what a number or a word means before it is ever written down.
Nursery and home alike
The material is widely used in reception classes and day nurseries, where it has to survive constant handling, and the same sets work at home as an addition to the play corner.
