Nathan is a French publisher with a long history in education, and its puzzles run from a child's first large-piece board to detailed thousand piece pictures for adults.
Children's puzzles first
The younger range uses thick, large pieces and images of animals, vehicles and fairy tales. Frame puzzles of fifteen to sixty pieces let a child of three or four finish something alone, which matters more at that age than the picture does.
Growing into the bigger sizes
From there the range steps up through a hundred and five hundred pieces to a thousand, with photography, art and world maps. The printing is crisp on firm board, so colours stay separable in large areas of a single tone.
