Jamara
Jamara is a German brand of radio-controlled models: cars, trucks, construction machines, helicopters, boats and drones, alongside electric ride-on vehicles for younger children.
Scale and control
The models are graded by scale and by how the handset works, from a simple two-channel controller for a six year old to proportional control that lets an experienced child ease into a corner. Off-road versions have deeper tread and real suspension for grass and gravel.
Batteries and spares
Most models run on a rechargeable pack with its own charger, and the running time is given per model. Spare parts such as tyres, propellers and body clips can be ordered separately, which is what keeps a well-used model going after the first hard landing.
