The pictures are full of small scenes, so a finished puzzle keeps being examined long after the last piece went in. That is what makes them good to do together, with children and adults working on the same picture side by side.
Pieces and sizes
There are puzzles from a few hundred pieces up to well over a thousand. For children, choose a lower count with larger pieces; the illustration then stays readable instead of dissolving into detail.
