Beyblade Spinning Tops
Beyblade is the battling spinning top: two players launch their tops into an arena and the one still spinning at the end wins. Tops, launchers, arenas and parts are all sold separately.
Building your own top
A Beyblade comes apart into a tip, a ring and a disc, and those parts can be swapped between tops. Choosing a heavy disc for staying power or an aggressive tip for attack is the strategy in the game, and it is what keeps children comparing and trading.
Getting started
A starter pack with one top and a launcher is enough to play against a friend who already has one; an arena is needed to play properly, since the walls keep the tops in and send them back at each other. Most of the range is aimed at six years and up.
