Which system to choose
First is made for children from about three, with wide track and cars that cannot come off easily. GO!!! is the step up, on 1:43, with more speed and cars that do fly off a bend if a child takes it too fast, which is half the fun.
Extending a track
Extra bends, straights, loops and bridges are sold separately and click on to the set already at home, as long as they belong to the same system. That makes a track a present that can grow rather than one that is finished after a week.
