Kids at Work makes genuine tools in a child's size: hammers, saws, screwdrivers and workbenches with which children learn woodworking under supervision.

Real tools, smaller format

The tools work in the way an adult's tools work, but they are lighter and shorter. That is what lets a child from about five, with help, actually saw through a piece of wood or drive a nail home, instead of hitting a plastic peg.

Workbenches and kits

There are workbenches, tool boxes and timber packs for making a bird box or a little car. Woodworking trains strength and precision, and it trains holding on to a plan over an hour, which very little else at that age does.
