Hey Clay is air-drying modelling clay in bright colours, sold in sets that go together with a free app full of step-by-step video instructions.
The app does the teaching
Each set has its own animated instructions showing exactly which piece to roll, flatten or join next. A child of five can follow them alone and finish a figure that actually looks like the one on the box, which is rarely true of plain clay.
Dries by itself
The clay is soft and light to work and hardens in the air over a day or so, with no oven involved. The finished monsters, animals and vehicles are solid enough to be played with or put on a shelf afterwards.
