Aerobie makes throwing rings and flying discs that go remarkably far and remarkably straight, best known for the Pro Ring that holds a world record for the longest throw.
Far and straight
The ring has a thin edge with a rubber rim around it, which gives it very little resistance and keeps it flying level instead of curving away. That makes it a thing for a large field or a beach, and emphatically not for a garden with windows in it.
For garden, park and water
Alongside the classic ring there are soft discs, boomerangs and floating models. Choose a soft version for playing with younger children or in a smaller space, where a hard rim would be caught in the face sooner or later.
