Trybike Steel
The Trybike Steel is a balance bike with a welded steel frame in a vintage shape: a low curved top tube, a leather-look saddle and cream tyres. It is built to be ridden indoors as well as outdoors.
Three wheels first, then two
The bike starts as a trike for a child of about one, and the rear section is taken off and turned round to make a two-wheel balance bike later on. One frame therefore covers the whole stretch from first steps to the point where a pedal bike makes sense, usually somewhere around four or five.
Steel rather than plastic
The frame is powder-coated steel with sealed bearings and air-free tyres, so there is nothing to pump up and little to go wrong. It is heavier than a plastic bike, which makes it steadier on a slope, and it survives being handed down.
