Wobbel Up and Sup
Up and Sup are the two smaller boards in the Wobbel range. The Up is a low balance board that turns and tips under the feet; the Sup is shaped after a paddle board and is ridden lying, kneeling or standing.
What a balance board trains
Standing on a surface that moves makes the small muscles round the ankles and the trunk work constantly, and it teaches a child to correct itself before it falls. That is the same skill that carries over to a bike, a scooter and a pair of skates.
Where to use one
Both boards are made for a flat floor with space around them and are best used barefoot or in socks with grip. On a hard floor a mat underneath keeps the board from sliding and takes the noise out of it.
