Trixie Mice
The mouse is the smallest of the Trixie animals and the line leans that way too: pale grey with pink ears, on purses, pencil cases, cups and the little soft toys that fit in a hand.
A first character
Because the shapes are small and light, this is often the line given to a baby: a cloth mouse to hold, a comforter, a beaker for the first attempts at drinking without help. Nothing in it is heavy enough to be a problem if it is dropped on a foot.
Small things that get lost
Purses, cases and cups are exactly the items that go missing at nursery. The mouse print is distinctive enough to be spotted in a lost property box, and most items have a space inside to write a name.
