Trixie Bibs
The bibs come in two kinds: soft cotton ones with a press stud for milk and dribbling, and wipe-clean ones with a pocket along the bottom for a child that is eating by itself.
Which one when
A cotton bib is enough while a baby is being fed by someone else. Once the spoon is in the child's own hand, a coated bib with a catch pocket saves far more clothing, and it wipes clean at the table.
The neck fastening
Press studs at the neck let the bib grow with the child and are harder for a toddler to undo than a hook and loop strip. The studs go through a normal wash without trouble; do not iron over them.
