Boules
Boules, or pétanque, is the French throwing game in which you try to get metal balls as close as possible to the small wooden jack. Here you will find complete sets of six or eight balls, usually in a carrying bag or a case.
For anyone from about six
The game asks for no strength, only a feel for distance, which means children, parents and grandparents can genuinely play against each other. It works on grass, gravel or sand, so a beach holiday or a spot in the park is enough.
Sets for children and adults
Children's balls are lighter and often made of plastic or a light metal, so they sit comfortably in a small hand. The heavier steel sets are meant for adults and hold their shape best on hard ground.
