Tolo BIO Classic
Tolo BIO Classic is the line in which Tolo makes its familiar baby and toddler toys from bio-plastic based on wheat straw, a residue of the grain harvest, instead of from ordinary plastic.
What bio-plastic means here
The material behaves like the plastic Tolo has always used, so the toys are just as easy to wipe clean and just as sturdy in the hand. The packaging is recyclable cardboard printed with soy-based ink.
Colours and age
The line uses a fresh, soft palette that sits a little away from the primary colours of the standard range. The shapes are the classic Tolo ones: rattles, stacking toys and figures for small hands, from about six months.
