Pot Holders
A pot holder protects the hands while a hot pan, oven dish or baking tray is picked up, and then goes straight back on its hook.
Grip and insulation
Look at the thickness and the filling, because a well-insulated holder keeps the heat off for longer, which is what counts when a dish has to be carried across a kitchen. A silicone layer on the outside adds grip on a smooth dish that would otherwise slide.
