Cue Chalk
Cue chalk provides the grip between the tip of the cue and the ball. Without chalk the cue slides off when side is applied and the shot is missed. Here you will find chalks singly and in value boxes.
How to use it
Turn the chalk lightly over the tip without boring into it. A thin, even layer is enough; too much simply falls on the cloth. Chalk again after every few shots, and certainly before playing anything with side on it.
Colour and type
Blue and green chalk match the colour of the cloth and so show up less when it does fall. Softer types give a great deal of grip, while harder types last longer and leave less dust on the table and the hands.
