Swim Armbands
Armbands give a young child extra buoyancy in the pool and at the beach. These are inflatable bands for the upper arm, usually with two separate air chambers, in sizes for children of roughly one to six years.
Size by weight and age
Armbands are graded by the age and the weight of the child. Choose a size that closes firmly around the upper arm without pinching; bands that are too roomy work their way down the arm while a child is playing, which is when they stop helping.
Always within reach
Armbands are an aid and not a life-saving device. Stay within arm's length of your child, in shallow water as much as deep, and check before every use that both air chambers are properly inflated and holding.
