Haba Doll Accessories
The Haba dolls come with a range of accessories that complete the caring side of the play: carriers, sleeping bags, blankets, changing bags, bottles, bath things and combs. They are the small items with which a child copies exactly what it sees happening at home.
Copying is learning
A child that changes its doll, feeds it and puts it to bed is practising looking after somebody else, and working through its own day at the same time. A new baby brother or sister makes this kind of play far more popular overnight. The accessories are made so that a toddler can handle them unaided, with no small loose parts.
Sized for the Haba dolls
The articles are cut to the sizes of the fabric dolls, so a sleeping bag or a carrier actually fits rather than nearly fits. That matters more than it sounds: a carrier a doll keeps falling out of is put aside within a day.
