The magnetic games from Haba consist of a wooden or card board with recessed figures that are moved about with a magnetic pen. They are generally suitable from about two years and are loved because no loose part can go missing.
How a magnetic game works
Under a transparent window lie small coloured balls or figures. With the magnetic pen they are drawn through little mazes to the right place: colours together, animals into their pen, numbers into order. The game corrects itself, so a child sees for itself whether it is right.
