Plan Toys Children's Room
Under children's room Plan Toys gathers the larger wooden articles that furnish a play corner: a washing machine, a fridge, a dishwasher, a rocking horse, a child's chair and a puppet theatre, all in solid rubberwood with water-based paint.
Imitating the household
A child copies what it sees happening at home, and a wooden washing machine with a door that really opens gives that copying somewhere to go. Doll clothes go in, the drum turns, the washing comes out again. Every appliance adds one more familiar routine to the play.
Furniture that stays put
These are the pieces that stand in a room for years rather than being tidied into a box. They are built heavy and low, with rounded corners, so a small child can lean on them without anything tipping over.
