Character Soft Toys
Soft toys of well-known characters from books, films and television, from small cuddly versions to large models.
A familiar face
A soft toy of a character a child already knows arrives with a story attached, which is why it is chosen so often as a gift. It links reading or watching to something that can be held and taken to bed. Younger children in particular pick the character over the animal every time.
Choosing a good one
Look at the fabric and the stitching around the ears and the nose, because that is where a favourite wears out first. Smaller versions travel better and are less of a disaster when they go missing. Check the label for whether it can be machine washed, since it certainly will need to be.
