Jan van Haasteren Puzzles
Jigsaw puzzles by Jan van Haasteren: busy comic scenes in 500, 1000 and 2000 pieces, plus junior editions.
A puzzle full of jokes
Jan van Haasteren's scenes are packed with small gags, so the picture keeps rewarding you long after the last piece is in. Finding a detail you missed is half the pleasure, and it is what makes people come back to the same puzzle. The drawing style is unmistakable, which is why the series has such a following.
Which one to start with
The junior editions have the same humour in fewer pieces and suit children from around six. A thousand pieces is the classic size and takes most people a few evenings. Because the scenes are so busy, sorting by object rather than by colour is the trick that makes a large one manageable.
