Abrick is the building block line from Écoiffier: large, sturdy blocks for toddlers from around eighteen months, made in France.
Building with large blocks
The blocks are big enough for small hands and click together without any real force, so building succeeds at an age when fine motor control is still very much under development. A tower that falls over because the pieces would not hold is what puts a toddler off entirely.
Sets with vehicles and figures
Besides loose blocks there are sets with cars, farms and little figures. With those a child is not only building but also playing out a story around whatever has just been made, which is what keeps the box in use after the novelty.
