Djeco Jigsaw Puzzles
Djeco jigsaw puzzles run from a first puzzle of a handful of pieces up to detailed cardboard puzzles of several hundred, all of them with the illustration work the French brand is known for.
Choosing on the number of pieces
The piece count is the thing to look at rather than the picture. Sixteen to thirty-six pieces suits a child of three or four, around a hundred suits five to seven, and from about eight upwards a puzzle of two or three hundred pieces stays interesting for more than one afternoon.
Shaped boxes and a poster
Many of the puzzles come in shaped boxes and include a poster of the finished picture, which is what a child works from when the pieces are all face up. The die-cutting is firm, so a laid section can be slid across the table without falling apart.
