Care Bears
The Care Bears have been around for decades: coloured bears, each with its own belly badge standing for a feeling or a quality such as love, luck or courage. The range covers soft toys, figures and play sets.
A bear with a meaning
Every bear is a different colour and carries a different symbol, and children pick theirs by which feeling fits them. That makes choosing part of the appeal, and it is why families end up with several rather than one.
Cuddling and collecting
The plush versions are soft enough to sleep with, while the smaller figures suit playing out stories or lining up on a shelf. Parents who had them as children recognise the originals, which is a large part of why this range keeps coming back.
