Jigsaw Puzzles 500 to 1000 Pieces

Jigsaw puzzles of five hundred to a thousand pieces are meant for experienced puzzlers: older children, teenagers and adults. A puzzle of this size takes several evenings and usually stays on the table or on a puzzle mat for a while.

Working at one picture

At this number of pieces the areas of colour are large and the pieces differ less from one another, so it becomes real searching. That is exactly the attraction: it asks for attention and patience, and many people find it a point of rest after a busy day. A thousand-piece puzzle laid out measures around fifty by seventy centimetres.

Practical puzzling

A puzzle mat or a puzzle board is handy when the table is needed for meals, because the whole picture can be rolled up and put aside without losing a piece.
