Toy Buses
Buses for play: city buses, double deckers, school buses, coaches and buses with figures and opening doors.
A vehicle full of people
A bus is the one vehicle a child can fill with passengers, which turns driving into a game about who gets on where. Stops, tickets and routes appear in the play without any adult suggesting them. It also connects straight to a journey most children have actually made.
What makes a good one
Doors that open and a removable roof let a child put figures inside rather than only on top. Check that any included figures match the scale of the ones you already have. Wooden and die-cast buses both roll well; the choice is mostly about the age of the child.
