All Types of Pans
This page brings the complete range of pans together: frying pans, cooking pots, saucepans, sauté pans, grill pans and woks, in different materials and diameters and with or without a non-stick coating.
The material decides the use
Stainless steel is tough and takes high heat, but food catches on it when there is little fat. A non-stick coating asks for hardly any fat and is pleasant for egg and fish, though it tolerates neither a metal spatula nor very high heat. Cast iron holds heat for a long time and is ideal for searing and slow cooking.
Will it work on your hob
On induction a pan only works if the base is magnetic, which is stated with each article. Check the diameter against the ring as well, because a base much smaller than the ring wastes heat and one much larger cooks unevenly.
