Children's Brooms
Brooms for children: small sweeping brushes, yard brooms, dustpan sets and wooden brooms scaled to child height.
Sweeping is a game before it is a chore
Toddlers copy whatever the adults around them are doing, and sweeping is near the top of that list. A broom cut to child height means the movement actually works instead of frustrating them. Sweeping leaves in the garden keeps a three-year-old busy far longer than you would expect.
What makes a good one
A wooden handle around eighty centimetres suits most children between three and six. Real bristles rather than moulded plastic make the broom pick things up, which is the whole point. A matching dustpan and brush completes the job and gives a clear end to the game.
