Teddy Bears
Teddy bears in every size: classic jointed bears, soft baby bears, large cuddly bears and bears as a gift for a birth.
The one that gets kept
A teddy bear is more often than not the toy that survives childhood and ends up on a shelf decades later. That is why it is the classic present for a birth, sometimes with a name embroidered on it. Bears are also the safest choice when you do not know the child well.
Baby bear or collector's bear
For a baby, choose a soft, light bear with embroidered eyes and no loose parts. Jointed classic bears with movable arms and legs are for older children and for keeping. A very large bear is impressive but rarely the one that goes to bed, so many families end up with both.
