Napkins
Napkins finish a laid table, at an ordinary evening meal just as much as at a birthday, a Christmas dinner or a children's party.
Paper or fabric
Paper napkins are practical and come in an enormous choice of colours and patterns, so a table can follow a theme once and never again. Fabric napkins last for years and give a table a cared-for look straight away, at the cost of a wash afterwards.
Matching a theme
Around holidays and children's parties there are napkins that match the rest of the table dressing. Choosing one colour as the base makes combining easy, because everything else only has to agree with that single colour.
