Toy Dinosaur Figures
Dinosaurs for play: tyrannosaurus, triceratops, stegosaurus and brachiosaurus as single figures, sets and play scenes.
A subject children take seriously
Dinosaurs are often the first thing a child learns properly, names and all, and they can be unforgiving about accuracy. Holding a triceratops while talking about horns and plates makes the names stick. It is one of the few toys that leads straight into reading and museums.
Choosing a set
A mixed set gives a child several species to compare, which is more interesting than three of the same size. Look for figures with feet that stand without a base, since a dinosaur that falls over constantly gets abandoned. Play scenes with rocks and plants give the figures somewhere to live.
