Duvet Covers
Duvet covers for the children's room in the usual sizes, with designs running from animals and vehicles to stars and plain colours. Nearly every set comes with a matching pillowcase.
The right size
For a cot bed the usual size is 100 by 135 centimetres; for a single bed it is 140 by 200 or 140 by 220. Measure your own duvet before ordering, because a cover that is too roomy slides about at night and one that is too tight pulls at the seams.
Fabric and washing
Cotton breathes well and feels cool; cotton satin is smoother and creases less; flannel is warmer and pleasant in winter. Wash a new cover before it goes on the bed, and turn a printed cover inside out so the design keeps its colour.
